We at Nonnie's feel that you have requested the perfect gift for your lucky recipient, and we want to ensure the best possible experience we can.
Your gift is specially packaged to arrive in perfect condition. Cakes are wrapped and cushioned to fit snugly in the box, chocolates and truffles are protected with cold packs year round to prevent overheating while in transit, and each nosegay is provided with its own water supply to keep it fresh during its overnight journey.
Nonnie Waller's delivers everywhere in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO & FPO locations.
You will be asked to select a delivery date at the time the order is placed. Deliveries are available year round from Tuesday through Saturday, with some exceptions around holidays.
Gift Certificates are sent by regular mail at the time the order is placed. Allow 2 business days for processing and 5 days for delivery.
You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail and UPS Tracking Number for your package on the day that your gift leaves our facility. Go to the UPS website and enter the tracking number (or simply click on the link provided in the e-mail) to see where the package is on its journey to your recipient.
All gifts that include flowers or chocolates are shipped Next Day Air for delivery Tuesday through Friday.
Just Cakes are shipped Second Day Air for delivery Wednesday through Friday.
UPS generally delivers to residential addresses Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and to business addresses during their normal business hours. During busy holiday times, deliveries may occur later than 7:00 p.m. Neither UPS nor Nonnie Waller's can guarantee that the package will be delivered at a specific time of day.
When an incorrect address is provided, Nonnie's will work with the carrier to redirect the package to get your gift delivered in as timely a manner as possible. However, there is a $10 change of address fee imposed by the carrier that will be charged directly to you.
At the time you place your order, you will be asked if the recipient's address is a residence or a business.
For residences, you may choose to:
1) Require a Signature - This option requires the courier to obtain a signature for the package before it is left. If you require a signature and no one is home to accept the package, the courier may take it back to the warehouse causing a delay in your desired delivery date. There is an additional $2.50 charge for this service.
2) Release Signature - This option releases the signature requirement allowing the carrier to leave the package at the door if the courier deems the location to be safe and secure. They will not leave the package if it is an apartment without a front desk. Nonnie Waller's Traditional Southern is not responsible for ensuring the recipients are home when the package is delivered. If you choose not to require a signature and the package is left at the premises, then neither the carrier nor Nonnie Waller's is liable for what happens to the package once it is left.
Include as much information as possible for business deliveries (the company name, floor number, and suite or office number). Nonnie Waller's requires that the carrier obtain a signature from the person who accepts the package.
Once your package leaves our hands and is accepted by the carrier, Nonnie Waller's Traditional Southern is no longer held liable for damages caused by delivery delays due to weather, carrier malfunctions and the like.
Nonnie Waller's does not maintain liability for misdirected and/or delayed packages if incomplete or inaccurate address information was provided at the time the order was placed.
Nonnie Waller's Traditional Southern is not responsible for any damages or non-delivery of products if the intended recipient is not there to receive the package.
Nonnie Waller's Traditional Southern is not responsible for severe weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, wind, etc. at the delivery point.
